Booking Guide

Please read all of Sana Styles Studio booking guide prior to scheduling your hair appointment or educational training. WHEN BOOKING WITH SANA STYLES STUDIO YOU ARE AGREEING TO ALL TERMS ON THIS BOOKING SITE.

Mandatory one time consult is required. All first-time clients and returning clients who have not booked in over a year, must book a consultation. Options for in-person or over-the-phone.

CONTACt & COMMUNICATIONS

Our preference of contact is text only unless there's a reason to call. Our business phone line is a Google office # 858-779-4870. My booking manager is in charge of most interaction with the Sana Styles Studio Client Care Center. She responds Monday to Saturday 6am - 6pm (No Sundays) within 24-48 hours response time. It's not me you're talking to there until your appointment day or if she needs me to respond to a style or hair related matter. She doesn't do hair, nor aspiring; she's solely responsible for booking & policies.

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK ON A TIME CRUNCH.

I take pride in creating and being rushed affects this process and shoots up my anxiety. This is especially for time-consuming styles or styles I'm training my skills on. If you're pressed for time, inform me prior to starting. Also, always be flexible that I may run into your service if you are middle shift or last shift. I rarely run into the next appointment, but if I do, I'll inform you at minimum an hour in advance. Book first shift to avoid this.

appointment changes

Updates to your service must be made AT LEAST 48 hours before your appointment. My booking manager maps my days based on the services on file. If you switch after 48 hours or day off to a lesser cost service, you may incur a fee to help balance out this last min change. Not all last minute service changes can be honored. Due to my work being physical intensive, it is important I know in advance and balance the load.

ATTENDANCE

No kids or extra people unless discussed prior.

Minors (18 or younger) may be accompanied by one adult minimum.

availability

I work "behind-the-chair" creating styles first 3 weeks of month. The last 7-8 days of each month, I'm off, EXCEPT overtime days. You may request those 7-8 days for service as well - overtime charges apply.

SERVICE FEES

Book all individual styles (box braids, knotless, faux-locks) before 10am. Any time after 10am will incur additional overtime cost; after 10am - $37 charge, after 4pm - $75 charge. Requesting service on my off week incurs $75 charge. Last minute and/or Same Day "squeeze me in" incurs $75 charge. Cancellations charge is 40% of scheduled style.

ALLERGY WARNING

Allergic reaction to synthetic hair is possible, although not common. Best solution is to pre-soak hair in ACV/water solutions. We have video available if you want to take pre-caution. It's a manufacturer issue, not install. There's no refund due to allergic reaction. You may create concoction post style, but there is a low chance of helping. Allergy to products: please inform me prior to service of any allergy to ingredients, chemical, or product so I can look into alternatives.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

Protective styles (using added hair) only:


• Hair thoroughly shampooed & deep conditioned
• Hair detangled & blow dried
• Ready to part, start protective styles If this will not be the case, inform us ASAP!


** NOTE you may request hair laundry (shampoo) + protective style. Minimum service charge of $318.

PLEASE DO NOT USE OILS ON HAIR. If your hair is excessively oily, you may have to reschedule your appointment if there’s no time to shampoo and reset it.

CANCELLATION POLICY

You may cancel up 24 hours before appointment to avoid cancellation fee. Once in the 24 hour window, canceling can incur a fee of 40% of total price of style booked or more. The entire total can be charged - it's what business stood to gain had you not canceled last min - it's hard to find a replacement last min. A 10 minute grace period goes into affect appointment day right after your booked time. If you do not respond to the two (2) efforts to reach you, your appointment is canceled and fee applied.

PRICING POLICY

Be advised: total shown for any service does not reflect your particular personal total. Prices are tailored to your individual head size, personal hair length, density, texture, and possible challenges PLUS what you’re desiring to create. Online rates are starting rates, subject to change at appointment or see the "Price Adjustor" category when using the booking system.

hair supply

Hair, generally, isn't provided. If it's provided it'll be mentioned in style summary. Generic Template with hair and general packs recommend is available upon request. The option "Get My Hair" request must be put in between the 23-24th of the month and/or at least 3 weeks before your appointment.

Hair Laundry

Hair Laundry Services are available to book to best prepare your tresses before any braiding or styling begins. If you choose not to select a Hair Laundry Service before your appointment, please come with your hair ready. This means hair must be washed, conditioned, and moderately blow-dried straight (use a heat protectant serum sparingly). There will be a charge for blow drying hair if it is not done prior to your appointment.
